É o meu último look de Halloween e para este look inspirei-me num look de Halloween da marca Illamasqua que achei muito interessante, espero que gostem.

This is my last Halloween look and I got inspired by a Illamasqua's Halloween look that I found very interesting, I hope you enjoy it.

Olá!!! / Hello!!!

As unhas desta semana foram inspiradas pela praia e pelo Verão e usei duas cores que associo a isto: um rosa forte e o dourado.

The nails of this week were inspired by the beach and Summer and I used two colors that I relate with this: a bold pink and gold. 

Como conseguir estas unhas:

1 - Depois de aplicar a base aplicar duas camadas do rosa e deixar secar muito bem;

2- Usando fita adesiva colar no polegar e anelar e forma a criar a faixa no meio da unha;

3- Pintar com verniz dourado na faixa e retirar de imediato a fita adesiva;

4- Com o verniz dourado ainda fresco deitar purpurina dourada por cima da unha (a purpurina vai agarrar ao verniz da faixa que é o único que está húmido);

5- Limpar o excesso de purpurina com a ajuda de um pincel limpo; 

6- No dedo indicador aplicar uma camada de verniz (pode ser transparente ou cor de rosa) e deitar as purpurinas de forma a cobrir a unha;

7- Depois de deixar o verniz por baixo das purpurinas secar, aplicar uma top coat;

How to achieve these nails:

1- After applying the base coat apply two coats of pink polish and let it dry really well;

2- Use adhesive tape to create the stripe on the thumb and ring fingers;

3- Paint with gold nail polish on the stripe and remove the adhesive tape immediately;

4- While the gold nail polish is still fresh pour some gold glitter all over the stripe (the glitter will stick to the stripe nail polish because it's the only that is still fresh and humid);

5 - Clean the excess glitter using a clean brush;

6 - For the index finger apply a coat of polish (it can be either a clear one or pink polish) and pour the glitter so it can cover the whole nail;

7- After letting the nail polish under the glitter dry, apply the top coat;

Today I'm going to show you a pack of two nail polishes that I bought for 1 euro (yes just 1 ehehe) that I bought on sale at H&M.

O que gostei / What I liked:

* Preço ;) [price]

* Ambas as cores têm uma óptima pigmentação [both colors have a great pigmentation]

* A cor City é linda e pode ser usada sem a Zoo [the City color is beautiful and can be used without the Zoo one]

* A cor Zoo é um rosa holográfico perfeito [the color Zoo is a perfect holographic pink]

O que não gostei / What I didn't like:

* A durabilidade do verniz poderia ser um pouco melhor [the polish durability could be a bit better]

Já há muito que não fazia um post das unhas da semana, simplesmente porque ultimamente não me tem apetecido usar unhas muito elaboradas. Mas esta semana resolvi fazer um dos meus designs preferidos: as unhas de leopardo inspiradas nos designs da Lisa Frank.

It's been a while since I last did a Nails of the Week post, simply because lately I really didn't feel like using elaborated nails. But this week I decided to do one of my favourite nail designs: leopard print nails inspired by Lisa Frank's designs. 

Este design é simples mas demora algum tempo a fazer e requer muitos materiais : ao todo usei 8 vernizes diferentes (sem contar com a base e o finalizante) 

This design is pretty simple but it takes time to make and lots of materials: in total I used 8 different nail polishes (not counting with the base and top coat)

Em vez do design de leopardo em cima podem utilizar um verniz crackle em preto como fiz nestas unhas:

Instead of the leopard print design you can use a black crackle polish like I did on these nails:

Como está a correr o Verão?
Já há algumas semanas que não posto aqui por estar na fase final do meu mestrado, mas hoje venho actualizar o blog e trago umas unhas de há uma semanas atrás.

Olá!!! / Hi!!!

Ultimamente o blog tem andado parado principalmente por causa da faculdade. Tenho dois vídeos gravados à espera de serem editados, mas não tenho tido tempo nenhum. Desde já peço desculpa.

Hoje resolvi fazer um post rápido de umas comprinhas que fiz ontem: um trio de sombras da marca MIYO e um verniz da nova colecção de Primavera da H&M. Por acaso são os dois em tons verdes que nesta altura do ano já me fazem sonhar com a Primavera.

Lately my blog has been quiet without any posts mostly because of my college. I already have two videos waiting to be edited, but I haven't had any time. I just want to apologize for that.


Today I decided to make a quick post about some shopping I did yesterday: an eyeshadow trio from MIYO and a nailpolish from the new Spring collection by H&M. Both products are in green tones that, at this time of the year, make me dream of Springtime.

* A primeira coisa maravilhosa acerca deste trio é o preço (cerca de 3,20€)

* A segunda é a pigmentação fantástica! Vale mesmo a pena experimentar e eu fiquei com muita vontade de comprar os outros trios)

* The first amazing thing about this trio is the price (around 3,20€)


* The second is the fabulous pigmentation! It's totally worth trying and now I really want to buy the other trios)

* A cor é muito bonita e muito diferente dos outros verdes que tenho. É um verde relva, sem brilhos. É lindo e quando experimentar posto fotos. 11/02/2012 - Já tenho fotos do verniz

* O verniz é de fácil aplicação e fica opaco numa camada.

* Outra coisa que eu adoro acerca deste verniz é o frasco, é tão simples, mas bonito e faz lembrar os frascos vintage.


* The colour is so pretty and really different from the other green polishes I have. It's a grass green, with no shimmer. It's soooo beautiful and will post the pictures of it when I use it. 11/02/2012 - I already have pictures of the polish 


* The polish applies easily and it's opaque in one coat.


* The other thing I love about this polish is the bottle, it's so simple, but so pretty and it reminds me of vintage bottles.
