Vou mostrar-vos 3 produtinhos que comprei recentemente da Essence e da Catrice: uma sombra em creme, um eyeliner de ponta de feltro e um eyeliner líquido à prova de água.

I'm going to show you 3 products I recently purchased from Essence and Catrice: a cream eyeshadow, a felt tip eyeliner, and a waterproof liquid eyeliner.

04 Exotica Eyeshadow Pen - Catrice

Esta caneta de sombra faz parte da edição limitada "Coolibri", edição essa que saiu no Verão, mas só agora está nas lojas Well's aqui em Portugal. 

Esta sombra é extremamente cremosa, extremamente pigmentada e linda <3  A cor é um coral muito vibrante com alguns brilhos dourados e dura imenso porque é à prova de água. 

This eyeshadow pen is part of the limited edition "Coolibri" that came out during Summer, but it only arrived the stores here in Portugal now. 

This eyeshadow is extremely creamy, extremely pigmented and gorgeous <3 It's a birght coral shade with some golden glitter and it lasts forever because it's waterproof.

I <3 Punk Jumbo Eyeliner Pen - Essence

Este eyeliner faz parte da nova colecção permanente da Essence.

É um eyeliner com ponta de feltro e eu não sou fã desse tipo de eyeliner porque geralmente, seja qual for a marca, a ponta seca muito rápido. Resolvi comprar este apenas porque gostei da ponta porque dá para fazer tanto traços finos como grossos. 

Na verdade fiquei desapontada com este produto, a formula é muito aguada e é preciso passar mais do que uma vez para ficar uma cor uniforme (como podem ver na imagem se passar só uma vez a cor fica irregular). 

Na embalagem diz que é à prova de água, mas não é e sai com alguma facilidade. 

This eyeliner is part of the new permanent collection from Essence. 

It's a felt tip eyeliner and I'm not a fan of those because I believe that, no matter what the brand is, the tip dries pretty fast. I decided to buy this one just because I liked the tip and how you can make both thin and thick lines with it. 

I was actually quite disapointed with this product, the formula is too watery and you need to go over it more than once to get a even color (as you can see in the picture if you only apply it one time the color is irregular). 

Also, the package says it is waterproof which is a lie because it comes off quite easily. 

Liquid Ink Eyeliner Waterproof 

Eu já usava o eyeliner normal desta gama, mas resolvi experimentar o à prova de água porque considero melhor uma vez que os olhos são húmidos e o meu eyeliner acabava por sair durante o dia.

A cor seca num tom mate, para quem preferir acabamentos brilhantes este não é o melhor produto.

Adoro tudo neste eyeliner é fácil de aplicar, a cor é muito intensa e é realmente à prova de água. Para quem procura um bom eyeliner a um preço baixo aconselho. 

I already used the regular eyeliner from this range, but I decided to try the waterproof one, because I think it's better since eyes are pretty humid and my eyeliner eventually came off during the day. 

The color dries into a matte shade so if you prefer shiny finish eyeliners this is not the product for you.

I love everything about this eyeliner, it's easy to apply, the color is intense and it's truly waterproof. For those you seek a good and cheap eyeliner I recommend this one.

Hoje venho mostrar-vos as unhas desta semana. Acho que me deixei levar um pouco e este foi o resultado ehehehe

Today I'm going to show you the nails of this week. I think I got carried away a bit and this was the result eheheh

Este foi o tutorial que usei como inspiração para este look 

This was the tutorial that I used as an inspiration for this look

Basicamente o que fiz foi: 

- Começar com uma cor base (laranja); 

- Usar o pincel leque para fazer riscas, primeiro rosa depois azuis;

- Como não fiquei satisfeita com o efeito depois de aplicar o azul voltei a aplicar rosa e depois laranja até ter o efeito desejado;

- No fim apliquei um verniz de brilhantes dourados; 

Basically what I did was:

- Start with a base color (orange);

- Start drawing stripes with the fan brush, first pink then blue;

- Since I wasn't satisfied with the effect after applying the blue I applied the pink again and the orange as well till I got the desired effect;

- To finish it I applied a glitery golden nail polish;

Esta semana finalmente chegou às lojas aqui em Portugal a colecção limitada Revoltaire da Catrice. A colecção aposta nas cores fortes como os rosa e os verdes e as embalagens são lindas.
Eu não consegui resistir a comprar as duas paletas de sombras que vieram com esta colecção.

This week the limited edition Revoltaire from Catrice finally arrived to stores here in Portugal. This collection bets on bold colours such as the pinks and the greens and the packaging is gorgeous.
I couldn't resist buying the two eyeshadow palettes that came with this collection.

O que achei:

* As caixas são absolutamente lindas, dá vontade de levar na bolsa apesar de eu não retocar a sombra ao longo do dia;

* As sombras têm um tamanho bom para uma paleta, têm um tamanho semelhante ao das sombras nos Book of Shadows da Urban Decay;

* Todas as cores são brilhantes; 

* Todas as cores têm uma boa pigmentação, incluindo o rosa e o verde, excepto as cores escuras. Estas cores foram uma desilusão porque em ambas as paletas não têm qualquer pigmentação por mais que se tente tirar alguma coisa. Paras as swatches eu usei um alfinete e raspei na sombra até fazer um pó, desta forma é possível obter alguma cor e é também assim que faço para as utilizar. Mesmo assim as cores mais escuras normalmente são as mais pigmentadas e não entendo como nestas paletas não têm qualquer pigmentação; 

* No geral estas paletas são boas, não diria que são indispensáveis, mas para quem gostar dá para fazer uns looks fora do comum;

My opinion:

* The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, it makes me want to take them in my purse even though I don't retouch my eyeshadow during the day;

* The eyeshadows have a good size for a palette, they are the same size as the eyeshadows on Urban Decay's Book of Shadows;

*All the colours are shimmery;

* All the colours have a good pigmentation, including the pink and the green, except the darker colours. These colours were a disappointment because on both palettes they have no pigmentation at all as much as you try to take anything. For the swatches I used a pin to scratch  the eyeshadow till you get a dust, this way it's possible to get some colour out of them and this is what I do when I use them. Still, the darker colours usually are the most pigmented ones and I don't understand how on these palettes they don't have any colour payoff at all;

* In general these are good palettes, I wouldn't say they are must haves, but if you like it you can achieve pretty unusual looks with them;

Já há algum tempo que andava à procura de um verniz laranja/salmão pastel e finalmente encontrei!!! Chama-se Salmon & Garfunkel e é da Catrice.

I've been looking for a pastel orange/salmon nail polish for a while now and I finally found it!!!
It's called Salmon & Garfunkel and it's from Catrice.

 Achei engraçado que tivesse a indicação para aplicar duas vezes nunca tinha visto isso num verniz / I thought it was funny that the polish had the indication to apply it two times, I've never seen that before in other nail polishes

O que achei:

* É um verniz com uma textura cremosa que fica opaco em duas camadas
* A cor é perfeita <3
* Seca muito rápido e isso pode ser um problema porque às vezes ainda não acabamos de cobrir a unha toda e o verniz já está a secar e fica um efeito feio
* Ao fim de poucos dias ele começa a descascar mesmo com base e top coat (este é um problema que eu considero comum a todos os vernizes da Catrice)

My opinion:
* It's a nail polish with a creammy texture and it's opaque in two coats
* The colour is perfect <3
* It dries really fast and that may be a problem since sometimes you still didn't finish painting your nail and the rest of the polish is already drying and it gives an ugly effect
* After only a few days the polish starts chipping even with a base and a top coat (this is a problem that I find common to all Catrice's nailpolishes)

A Catrice é uma marca low cost assim como a Essence e eu já estou fã!!! Um dos produtos que eu gosto mais são os batons que têm uma grande gama de cores, são muito pigmentados, cremosos e duram imenso tempo. A colecção de batons deles divide-se em duas gamas: Ultimate Colour e Ultimate Shine. Hoje vou mostrar-vos os 5 batons que tenho da marca.

Catrice it's a low cost brand like Essence and I'm already a huge fan!!! One of my favourite products from them are the lipsticks which have a wide range of colours, are highly pigmented, creamy and high durability. Their collection of lipsticks is divided in two ranges: Ultimate Colour and Ultimate Shine. Today I'm going to show you the 5 lipsticks I own from this brand.

nº 50 Princess Peach

A cor "Princess Peach" é um coral alaranjado muito bonito. É mais uma cor de Verão e fica muito bem com peles morenas.

The colour "Princess Peach" it's a pretty orangy coral. It's a Summer colour and it goes really well with tanned skin. 

nº70 It's Robin Wood

Esta cor é um castanho chocolate e é bastante escura. Na verdade eu comprei esta cor por engano, mas não desgosto, mais para usar no Outono ou Inverno.

This colour is a chocolate brown and it's pretty dark. Actually I bought this colour by mistake, but I don't dislike it, it's more appropriate for Fall or Winter.

nº 110 Pink Me Up!

"Pink Me Up!" é um rosa cereja que parece quase vermelho. Eu acho uma cor linda porque é um rosa diferente do que se costuma encontrar.

"Pink Me Up!" it's a cherry pink that looks almost red. I think it's a beautiful colour because it's a different shade of pink from what you usually see. 

nº 180 Meet Violeta

Esta cor é rosa frost que tanto fica bem usado sozinho como por cima de outro batom.

This colour is a frost pink that looks good by itself or on top of another lipstick.

nº 210 Pinkadilly Circus

E por fim o "Pinkadilly Circus" que é de momento o meu batom preferido. Tem uma cor perfeita que apesar de ser rosa dá aos lábios um look muito natural.

And finally "Pinkadily Circus" which is my favourite lipstick of the moment. It has a perfect colour that in spite of being pink gives the lips a natural look.
