Aqui está a segunda parte da minha ida à Expocosmética (podem ver a primeira aqui) desta vez com maquilhagem e produtos para as unhas.

Here is the second part of my trip to Expocosmética (you can see the first part here) this time with makeup & nail products. 

Pestanas Falsas / Fake lashes "Attraction"& "Regard de Braise" [Peggy Sage]

Mais pestanas das Peggy Sage. Eu amo as pestanas desta marca tem modelos lindos e são super baratas na Expo (3 euros!!!!). 

More Peggy Sage fake lashes. I love the lashes from this brand, they have beautiful models and they are super cheap at the Expo (only 3 euros!!!!).

Curvex / Lash Curler [Peggy Sage]

Já o experimentei e adoro. Curva muito bem as pestanas. 

I've already tried it and I love it. It curls the lashes really well.

Crayon Yeux Jumbo "Argent" [Peggy Sage]

Este lápis é super macio e pigmentado. 

Como é em formato Jumbo é perfeito para usar como base para sombras prateadas. 

This eyeliner is super soft and pigmented.

Since it's in a Jumbo format it's perfect to use as a silver eyeshadow base.

Autocolantes para unhas / Nail stickers [Peggy Sage]

Estes autocolantes lindos e super fofos foram uma oferta da Peggy Sage quando fiz compras lá. Uma das coisas que adoro acerca de comprar neste stand é que eles oferecem sempre algum produto <3

These super cute and pretty stickers were a gift at Peggy Sage when I bought stuff there. One of the things I love about buying at this stand is that they always give you some product as a gift <3 

Verniz / Nail Polish  "Amarelo-Lumi" [Ludrana]

Este verniz comprei num stand que não me lembro o nome por apenas 1 euro! 

A cor dele é amarelo fluorescente apesar de na foto não dar para perceber bem. 

Eu tive algumas duvidas acerca deste verniz, mas quando em casa fiz uma swatch reparei que ele é muito pigmentado. 

I bought this polish at a stand that I don't remember the name for only 1 euro!

Its color is a fluo yellow although you can't see it really well on the picture. 

I had some doubts about this polish when I bought it, but when I swatched it at home I noticed that it is highly pigmented. 

Verniz Amarelo Pastel nº22 / Pastel Yellow Nailpolish nº22 [GL Nails]

Comprei este verniz porque adoro esta cor e o verniz amarelo pastel que tinha acabou há pouco tempo. 

I bought this polish because I love this color and I've recently ran out of my pastel yellow nail polish. 

Verniz Térmico / Thermal Nail Polish [GL Nails]

Ok...eu andava LOUCA para encontrar um verniz deste género. É um verniz que muda de cor de acordo com a temperatura, neste caso azul no calor e lilás no frio. 

Acho lindo e tou ansiosa para usar.

Ok...I've been CRAZY about these polishes for a long time but I never found one. It's a polish that changes its color according to the temperature, on this case blue with heat and lilac with cold. 

I think it's so pretty and I'm anxious to try it. 

Nail Art Deco 

Dois items de decoração de unhas. 

A fita é uma fita fininha para fazer vários tipos de decoração que mostrarei mais tarde aqui no blog.

The tape is a really thin one to make several nail art decorations that I'll show latter here. 

Almofada para braço  / Nail art arm pillow

Comprei esta almofadinha porque achei um amor e porque acho que me vai dar bastante jeito. 

É uma almofada para apoiar o braço ou a mão enquanto se pinta as unhas. Como eu pinto as unhas a algumas pessoas e é sempre difícil arranjar uma boa posição para as pintar achei uma boa aquisição. 

I bought this pillow because I think it is so cute and because I think it will be very handy.

It's a pillow to support your arm or hand while you're painting your nails. Since I do the nails of several people and it's always hard to find a good position for the hand I think it was a really good item to buy. 

Batom / Lipstick  Stay Matt "02 Smooth Berry" [Essence]

Este é um dos novos produtos da colecção permanente da Essence, um batom mate e cremoso. 

A cor é bastante intensa e não é preciso muito produto para espalhar pelos lábios. 

This is one of the new products from Essence's permanent collection, it's a matte and creamy lipstick.

The color is pretty intense and you don't need a lot of product to get it all over your lips. 

Por aqui acaba a minha viagem à Expocosmética para o ano há mais.

Quem, como eu, ama a história do Feiticeiro de Oz? E a marca Urban Decay? E se juntassem os dois? Pois é, a Urban Decay acaba de lançar duas paletas de edição limitada inspiradas no novo filme da Disney Oz: O Grande e Poderoso.

Who, as myself, loves the story of the Wizard of Oz? And what about the brand Urban Decay? And what you put both of them together.
Well, Urban Decay has just released two limited edition palettes inspired by the new Disney movie Oz: The Great and Powerful.

As duas paletas são inspiradas na bruxa boa Glinda e na bruxa má Theodora e, segundo a marca de maquilhagem, é porque todas temos um lado bom e um lado mau ;) 

Eu prefiro a paleta Theodora, não por ser sempre má, mas porque acho que tem um conjunto de cores bem mais ao meu gosto.

The two palettes are inspired by the good witch Glinda and the wicked witch Theodora and, according to the makeup brand, it's because we all have a good and a bad side ;)

I prefer the Theodora palette, not because I'm always bad, but because it has a group of colors that are more according to my taste.

Hoje venho mostrar-vos um produto que faz parte da nova colecção permanente da KIKO que é o Unlimited Lipgloss.
Eu experimentei algumas cores na loja e como eram muito pigmentadas resolvi trazer um.

Today I'm going to show a product that is part of the new permanent collection from KIKO which is the Unlimited Lipgloss.
I've tried some colours at the store and since they were very pigmented I decided to bring one home.

Nº 23 Pearly Magenta 

* O que eu mais gostei acerca destes glosses foi a pigmentação. Apesar de ser um gloss ele tem muita cor, por exemplo este que escolhi tem um cor rosa com glitter muito bonita. 

* Contudo nem todas as cores desta gama têm tanta pigmentação. Eu experimentei uns rosas e uns vermelhos que tinham bastante pigmentação, mas depois experimentei uns corais que já não eram tão pigmentados e davam só brilho. 

* Este gloss tem uma textura bastante espessa que lhe dá aquela sensação de colante própria da maior parte dos glosses, mas não é intolerável só desaconselho usar em dias de muito vento com o cabelo solto.

* O preço é muito bom para o produto que é - são 3.50€. 

* What I liked the most about these glosses was the pigmentation. Despite beeing a gloss it has a lot of colour payoff, for example the one I chose has a beautiful pink with glitter colour.

* On the other hand, you have to bare in mind that not all the colours from this range have the same pigmentation. I've tried some pinks and red and they were highly pigmented, but then I tried some corals that weren't as pigmented and would only give a certain shine to your lips. 

* This gloss has a pretty thick texture that can feel sticky on the lip as the majority of glosses, but it isn't unbearable just try not to use it whith loose hair on windy days. 

* The price is really good for the kind of product it is - it's 3.50€.

Hoje o post vai ser um pouco diferente do habitual. Pessoalmente, sou fascinada por tudo o que seja vintage e de outras épocas, então resolvi pesquisar anúncios de produtos de cosmética antigos.
Acho interessante saber que tipo de produtos eram utilizados e como eram publicitados.
Hoje vão ser anúncios dos anos 20.

Today the post is going to be a little different  than the usual. Personally, I'm fascinated by everything that is vintage and from other times, so I decided to look for some old ads of cosmetic products. 
I think it's interesting to know what type of products were used and how they were advertised.
Today the ads are from the 20's. 

Anúncios / Ads

A marca francesa Bourjois que ainda é comercializada hoje em dia / The french brand Bourjois that is still sold today 

Bronzer agora para o Verão / Bronzer for Summer time ;) 

Um aparelho para fazer as típicas ondas dos anos 20 / A device to make the famous 20's waves

Gosto do facto de já na altura darem nomes às diferentes cores / I like the fact that at that time they already gave names to the different colours

Um batom da época com um formato bastante diferente dos de hoje em dia / A lipstick of that time with a shape quite different from the ones of these days

Quando tive a pesquisar os anúncios deu para perceber que tipo de produtos eram mais utilizados naquela altura. Nos anos 20 os produtos de beleza mais populares eram produtos para a pele, produtos de higiene oral (eles davam muito valor a um sorriso bonito e cuidado), produtos para o cabelo e alguns batons. 

While I was searching for these ads I was able to figure which products were used the most during that time. During the 20's the most popular beauty products were skin products, oral hygienne products (they really valued a beautiful smille), hair products and some lipsticks.

Hoje é dia de vos mostrar outro Pout Paint da Sleek, desta vez na cor Milkshake.

Today is the day to show you another Pout Paint from Sleek, this time in the colour Milkshake.

Milkshake, Rosette e os dois misturados / & the mix of the two

O que achei:

* Em termos de durabilidade, sabor, forma de aplicar e preço este produto é igual ao Rosette (ver review)

* A cor Milkshake é mais difícil de aplicar porque não fica opaca logo na primeira passagem e é necessário aplicar uma vez, deixar secar e aplicar outra camada

* Não gosto tanto da cor em si, é demasiado neon para o meu tipo de pele e como é quase obrigatório aplicar duas camadas a cor fica muito forte. Uma das soluções que eu encontrei para espalhar melhor e atenuar a cor é, depois de aplicar com o pincel, espalhar com o dedo.

My Opinion:

* In terms of durability, taste, way of applying and price this product is like Rosette (view review)

* The colour Milkshake is harder to work with because it doesn't get opaque on the first coat and you need to apply it the first time, let it dry and then apply the second coat to even it

* I'm not a big fan of this colour, it's too neon for my skin tone and as it is almost mandatory to apply two coats the final colour is too vibrant. One of the solutions I found to soften this colour is, after you apply it with the brush, you spread the product with you finger
