Olá!!! / Hello!!!

Já não posto aqui há muito, eu sei, mas os trabalhos da faculdade apertam nesta altura e às vezes é difícil, mas vou tentar filmar pelo menos dois vídeos nestas próximas duas semanas.

Recentemente a Sephora aqui em Portugal começou a vender paletas da marca Sleek. Eu já tinha comprado uma paleta online a Acid e até falei dela aqui no blog e agora resolvi comprar a Bad Girl.
Escolhi esta paleta porque tem muitas cores escuras como o verde e o roxo que eu gosto muito de usar em maquilhagens.

I know I haven't posted here for a while, but I have a lot of college work around this time, but I'm going to try to shoot at least two videos in these next two weeks.


Recently, here in Portugal, Sephora started selling the Sleek palettes. I had purchased the Acid palette online a while ago, I even reviewed it here on the blog, and now I decided to buy the Bad Girl one. 
I chose this palette because it has a lot of dark colours such as greens and purples, which I love to use on my make up looks.

O que achei :

* Como na outra paleta da Sleek as sombras são muito pigmentada embora eu ache que neste paleta a pigmentação é ainda maior.

* As cores mais pigmentadas são a "Noir", "Envy", "Obnoxious", "Abyss" e "Twilight". A minha sombra preferida é a "Twilight" que é um roxo único com reflexos, é uma cor linda.

* Ao aplicarem as sombras mais escuras têm que ter cuidado porque algumas sombras como a "Envy" e a "Abyss" deixam cair muitos pigmentos que sujam muito a cara e que são difíceis de tirar.

* No geral, adorei esta paleta acho que tem cores óptimas para os meses mais frios ou para saídas à noite.


My Opinion:

* As in the other Sleek palette that I have, the colours from the Bad Girl palette are highly pigmented, although I think that on this palette the colours are even more pigmented than on the Acid one. 


* The colours with higher pigmentation are "Noir", "Envy", "Obnoxious", "Abyss" and "Twilight". My favourite colour is "Twilight", which is a unique shade or purple with lots of reflections. It's a lovely colour.


* You have to be careful when applying the darker shades such as "Envy" and "Abyss" because they are kind of chalky and have a lot of fall outs that are very hard to remove from your face.


* Overall, I love this palette and I think it has amazing colours for the colder months or for going out at night.

Hoje venho mostrar-vos mais uma colecção limitada da Essence, desta vez com a temática dos vampiros. Como sempre não comprei a colecção completa por isso para verem os outros produtos/cores podem ver aqui.

Eu confesso que fiquei muito surpreendida com esta paleta de sombras.
Normalmente as sombras da Essence não são muito pigmentadas nem duram muito, no entanto esta paleta foge à regra e oferece um conjunto de cores muito bonitas super pigmentadas e que duram muito tempo.
A minha cor preferida é a primeira cor da fila de cima, é um dourado escuro que fica muito bonito.

I confess that I was pretty impressed with this eyeshadow palette.
Usually, Essence's eyeshadows aren't really pigmented and don't last a lot on your eyes, but this palette is an exception because it offers a range of beautiful colours that are highly pigmented and long lasting.
My favourite colour is the first colour of the top row, it's a dark gold colour, really beautiful.

Lip Stain "01 Bloody Mary"

Como o nome indica este produto é uma lip stain, ou seja é um batom que mancha os lábios e dura muito mais tempo que um batom normal porque dificilmente sai.
Adorei esta cor, ainda não tinha nada parecido e é um tom muito bonito agora para o Outono e o Inverno.

As the name indicates this product is a lipstain, so it's a kind of lipstick that stains your lips and lasts more than a regular lipstick because it hardly comes off.
I love this colour, it's different from any other colours that I have and it's really pretty for Fall or Winter.

Este produto é a verdadeira novidade da colecção. Trata-se de um género de fibras para dar mais volume às pestanas, nunca tinha visto nada assim.
Forma de aplicação: Aplicar uma camada de rímel, enquanto o rímel ainda está húmido fechar o olho e aplicar as fibras (sim é importante fechar se não garanto-vos que vai doer quando as fibras entrarem para o olho), depois aplicar outra camada de rímel.
De facto este produto confere bastante mais volume às pestanas (não sei se as fotos conseguem mostrar bem), e vale muito a pena experimentar.

This product is the real novelty of the collection. It's a kind of fiber to give more volume to the lashes, I've never seen anything like it.
How to use it: Apply one coat of mascara to your lashes, while the mascara is still wet close your eye and apply the fibers (yes it's important to close your eye, I assure you that it will hurt a lot if the fibers enter into your eye), then apply another coat of mascara. 
In fact this product provides much more volume to the lashes (I don't know if the pictures can show it well), and it's worth trying.

Verniz / Nail Polish "01 Gold Old Buffy"

Escolhi esta cor porque gosto muito da mistura do preto e dourado e adorei o nome ^^
A aplicação é fácil e fica opaco em duas camadas.

I chose this colour because I like the mix of gold and black, also I love the name ^^
Easy to apply and is opaque in two coats.

Falei num dos meus posts de Halloween (ver aqui) da nova série American Horror Story. Apesar desta série ter estreado há pouco tempo eu fiquei tão viciada que acho que merece um post só para ela.

In one of my Halloween posts (see here) I told you about a new tv show called American Horror Story. Although this series have premiered recently, I'm already addicted to it and I think it deserves a post all to itself.

Sinopse: Uma família de três muda-se de Boston para Los Angeles como forma de tentar resolver os seus problemas do passado. Mudam-se para uma mansão restaurada, sem saber que esta está assombrada. (fonte: IMDb)

Synopsis: A family of three moves from Boston to Los Angeles as a mean of reconciling their past anguish. They move to a restored mansion, unaware that the home is haunted. (source: IMDb) 


Uma das características mais marcantes da séries são as suas personagens peculiares, que vão revelando os seus segredos ao longo dos episódios.

One of the most striking features of this show are it's quirky characters, who will reveal their secrets over the episodes.

Minha Opinião:

* Série perfeita para amantes de filmes de terror, é como se eles pegassem num filme de terror e o dividissem em episódios

* Todos os episódios se descobre um pouco mais acerca da casa e das personagens, vão-se desvendando segredos aos poucos sem nunca revelar tudo

* A série tem um clima muito tenso, não esperem ver momentos de comédia

* As personagens que vão aparecendo são, no mínimo, peculiares, mas todas têm uma história sólida por trás que vamos descobrindo a cada episódio

* American Horror Story consegue reunir várias características de filmes de terror como o gore, fantasmas, mistério, suspense, drama, monstros, etc...

* Neste momento considero uma das melhores séries do momento e recomendo vivamente para quem gostar do género

My Opinion:


* This tv show is perfect for horror movie lovers, it's like they took a horror movie and divided it into several episodes


* Every episode they reveal a little more about the story of the house and the characters. Each time you get to know more about the secrets but they never reveal them all. 


* This series has a very tense atmosphere, so do not expect any comedy moments


* The characters that keep appearing are, to say the least, peculiar, but they all have a solid story behind them that we discover over the episodes


* American Horror Story manages to bring together various features from horror films such as gore, ghosts, mystery, suspense, drama, monsters, etc...


* I consider AHS one of the best tv shows of the moment and I strongly recommend it for those who like the genre
