Olá!!! / Hello!!! 

Hoje venho mostrar-vos as minhas comprinhas da Expocosmética que já foi no início de Abril, mas só agora consegui fotografar tudo. Vou dividir em duas partes: maquilhagem e vernizes. Hoje vou mostrar a maquilhagem. 

(Para quem não sabe a Expocosmética é uma exposição de cosmética, estética e cabelos aqui em Portugal, para mais informações vejam o site oficial)

Today I'm going to show you the items I bought at Expocosmética which was at the beginning of April, but I just finished photographing everything now. I'm going to make two posts for this: makeup and nailpolishes. Today I'm going to show you the makeup.

Toda a maquilhagem que comprei na Expocosmética é da marca Peggy Sage. É uma marca que tem poucas lojas em Portugal, mas que tem produtos muito bons e a preços baixos, por isso aproveito a feira para comprar.

All the makeup that I bought at Expocosmética is from the brand Peggy Sage. It's a brand that has few stores here in Portugal, but has really good products at low prices, so I buy a lot from Peggy Sage at Expocosmética.

"Océan" Liquid Eyeliner

Eu gostei deste eyeliner por causa da cor que é um azul eléctrico. É bastante pigmentado e tem uma boa durabilidade.

I liked this eyeliner because of it's colour, which is an electric blue. It's highly pigmented and has a good durability.

"Cosmic Pink" Lip Gloss

Apaixonei-me por este gloss (sim porque eu preciso mesmo de mais um gloss -.- ) quando o experimentei na feira. É lindo porque tem muito glitter rosa que se nota quando se usa. O único problema é que é tem uma textura bastante grossa e cola muito, ou seja é uma péssima combinação para dias de vento com cabelo solto x) .

I fell in love with this lip gloss (yeah because I really need another gloss -.- ) when I tried it at the exhibition. It's gorgeous because it has lots of pink glitter which actually shows when you use it. The only problem about it is it's texture which is very thick and sticky, which means it's not a good choice for windy days with loose hair x) . 

"Green Pink" Shimmer Eyeshadow

Comprei esta sombra porque já há algum tempo que andava à procura de uma sombra desta cor, faz-me lembrar muito a "Lounge"da Urban Decay embora a "Lounge" seja mais castanha e esta seja mais verde.    De qualquer forma eu amo esta cor, tem muitas cintilâncias e reflexos rosa e verdes e é muito pigmentada. 

I bought this eyeshadow because I wanted an eyeshadow like this one for a while, it reminds me of Urban Decay's "Lounge" although "Lounge" is more brownish and this one is more green. Eitherway I love this colour, it has lots of shimmer with a pink/green duochrome  and it's highly pigmented.

"Sophistication" False Eyelashes

 

Por fim comprei também umas pestanas falsas. O ano passado já tinha comprado umas desta marca juntamente com a cola de pestanas e fiquei fã por isso este ano comprei outras.

As pestanas da Peggy Sage vêm com um mini tubo de cola e dão um look muito natural. Não sou especialista em pestanas falsas, até porque as únicas que tenho são da Peggy Sage e umas da H&M que nunca usei porque as duas pestanas eram para o mesmo olho ehehe Mas tenho a dizer que gosto muito das da Peggy Sage.

Finally, I also bought some false eyelashes. Last year I had bought some false lashes from this brand along with the eyelash glue and I became a fan so this year I bought another pair. 

Peggy Sage eyelashes come with a mini eyelash glue tube and look very natural. I'm not an expert on false eyelashes, the only ones I own are the ones from Peggy Sage and a pair from H&M that I've never used because both eyelashes are for the same eye eheheh But I have to say that I really love the lashes from Peggy Sage.

Como têm andado?
Hoje venho mostrar-vos dois vernizes da nova colecção de de Primavera de Kiko Makeup. Escolhi as cores nº 336 "Electric Blue" e nº 356 "Melon".

How have you been?
Today I'm going to show two nail polishes from the new Spring collection by Kiko Makeup. I chose the colours nº336 "Electric Blue" and nº356 "Melon".

O que achei:

* Eu já conhecia os vernizes da Kiko e todos os que experimentei são muito bons em termos de cobertura e ficam opacos na primeira camada (embora eu use sempre duas). A formula destes é igual, são bastante cremosos e a cor é muito rica;

* A minha cor preferida é o "Electric Blue", é um azul forte lindo e perfeito *.*

* O "Melon" desiludiu-me um pouco porque pensei que fosse mais um amarelo torrado, mas afinal é mais alaranjado, mas até gosto dele;



My opinion:


* I already knew Kiko's polishes, and all of them are very good in terms of coating, they get opaque in one coat (although I always use two coats). The formula of these two is the same, they are very creammy and the colour is very rich;


* My favourite colour is "Electric Blue", it's a bold, beautiful and perfect blue *.*


* "Melon" colour kind of disapointed me because I thought it would be more of a dark yellow but it turned out as a orangy colour, but I like it; 


Mais uma coisa, mudei o template do blog. Foi mais um engano porque estava a testar novos templates e ele gravou automaticamente, mas pronto fica com um visual mais primaveril por agora :P

One more thing, I changed the blog template. It was by mistake because I was testing new templates and it saved the changes automatically, but anywway, it gives the blog a more Spring time look :P

Para quem é viciado em vernizes como eu e não resiste em comprar um frasquinho quase todas as semanas de vez em quando, saber como organizar a colecção de vernizes torna-se crucial. Hoje venho mostrar-vos como organizo os meus.


For those who are addicted to nail polish as I am and can not resist buying a bottle every week ocasionally, knowing how to organize your collection of polishes becomes crucial. So today I'm going to show you how I organize my own collection. 

Etiquetar os frascos / Labelling the bottles

Uma das coisas que gosto de fazer é etiquetar as tampas dos frascos de verniz para encontrar mais facilmente as cores que quero.
Para isso basta arranjar etiquetas autocolantes (também serve fita cola), passar duas camadas de verniz, recortar no tamanho desejado e colar na tampa do frasco.

One of the things I like doing is labelling the nail polish bottle cap, so I can find the colour I want more easily.
To do that you only need to get label stickers (you can also use adhesive tape), paint two coats of polish onto the label, cut to desired size and stick it to the cap of the bottle. 

O resultado deve ser algo semelhante a isto / You result should be something like this :

Caixas de Organização / Storage Boxes

Para guardar os meus vernizes uso umas caixas de plástico transparente divididas a meio que comprei  no IKEA, mas qualquer caixa serve. Eu gosto de organizar os vernizes por cores ou por tipos de efeitos (por exemplo glitter, crackel, magnéticos, etc), mas podem organizar também por marcas.

To store my nail polishes I use some plastic boxes divided in the midle that I bought at IKEA, but any kind of box will do. I like to organize my polishes by colour or by types of special effects (like glitter, crackle, magnetic, etc), but you can also organize them by brands.
