Olá / Hello Bunnies!!!

Como alguns de vocês já devem ter reparado, eu tento viver o meu Halloween ao máximo, e este ano não foi excepção!!!
Decidi dar uma festa temática em minha casa com decorações e comida a condizer com o Dia das Bruxas, e aqui ficam as fotos do resultado (tinham pedido para fazer um vlog, mas foi-me completamente impossível uma vez que nesse dia estive a trabalhar das 8 da manhã às 21.30. ).

As some of you already know, I try to live Halloween to its fullest, and this year was no exception!!! 
I decided to host a theme party at my house with Halloween themed  decor and food, and here you have the photos of the final result (you asked me to film a vlog but it was impossible since, on that day, I was working since 8 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.) . 

E assim foi o meu Halloween. Deu muito muito trabalho, mas valeu três vezes mais a pena.

Resta-me agradecer a todos os que estiveram presentes, a todos os que me apoiaram e a todos os que me ajudaram a tornar esta noite possível. 

Foi tudo fantástico, mas não por causa das decorações ou da comida...isso qualquer um pode ter....foi tudo fantástico pelas pessoas envolvidas e pela sua importância na minha vida. 

Muito obrigada a todos.

And this was my Halloween. It was a lot a lot of work, but it was worth three times mor. 

I can only thank to all the people present, to all the people that supported and helped me to make this night possible. 

It was all amazing, but it wasn't amazing because of the decor and the food....those everyone can have...it was amazing because of all the people involved and their importance in my life.

Hoje venho mostrar-vos um dos meus produtos favoritos da marca I Heart Makeup, os Lip Lavas!!!
A loja Maquillalia estava com uma promoção para comprar a colecção completa por 15€ e eu aproveitei.
Os Lip Lavas são basicamente batons líquidos com uma formula hiper pigmentada, de longa duração e com algum brilho.
Há quem diga até que eles são os dupes (imitações) perfeitos dos Melted Lipstick da Too Faced...


Today I'm going to show you one of my favourite products from the brand I Heart Makeup, the Lip Lavas!!!
Maquillalia store had the entire collection on sale for 15€ and I bought them.
The Lip Lavas are basically liquid lipsticks with hyper pigmented and long lasting formula, and with some glossy shine to them.
Some people even say that they are the perfect dupes for the Melted Lipsticks by Too Faced...

A colecção actual de Lip Lavas é constituída por cinco cores : Tremor, Shockwave, Forgiven, Unleash e Firestorm.

Como podem ver na imagem o aplicador é do género de uma esponja por onde o produto sai ao apertarem o tubo. Este aplicador é bastante prático porque cobre facilmente os lábios. Para mim o único problema deste método é ser mais difícil para transferir para um pincel (no meu caso eu necessito disto para quando estou a maquilhar clientes). 

Quanto à formula, ela é sem dúvida bastante boa. Super pigmentada e macia, muito confortável nos lábios. 

No entanto, devo informar, que entretanto dois dos Lip Lavas deixaram de funcionar. De um momento para o outro o produto deixou de sair do aplicador e até agora não encontrei uma forma de solucionar este problema. Entrei em contacto com a marca e eles disseram-me para passar o aplicador por baixo de água quente, ainda não testei este método, mas para quem tiver o mesmo problema pode sempre tentar. 

The current collection of Lip Lavas has five colors : Tremor, Shockwave, Forgiven, Unleash and Firestorm. 

As you can see in the picture above, the product has a sponge like applicator from where the product comes out when you squeeze the tube. This applicator is very practical to use since it covers all the lip pretty easily. For me, the only problem about this type of applicator is that it's very hard to transfer to a brush (which is very important for me since I need to use products on customers). 

As for the formula, it is pretty good. Super pigmented and soft, very comfortable on the lips. 

Nonetheless I need to inform you about a problem I had while using the Lip Lavas, two of them stopped working all of a sudden. The product wouldn't just come out of the applicator for no reason. I contacted the brand and they advised me to run the applicator under hot water, and although I haven't tried this yet, if you are experiencing the same problem you should try this.

Quanto à questão dos dupes, aqui ficam com duas fotos a comparar um batom da gama Melted e um Lip Lava. As cores como podem ver são bastante semelhantes, assim como o aplicador (embora o Melted tenha 3 orifícios por onde sai produto e o Lip Lava só tem um), e até mesmo o design das embalagens. 

A fórmula é muito muito muito semelhante, e é isso que adoro nos Lip Lavas, serem tão parecidos com os Melted por um terço do preço. 

Principais diferenças - Os Melted duram mais tempo, têm uma fórmula ainda mais macia e não têm tanto brilho. 

As for the dupe isso, here you have two photos comparing the Melted lipstick with the Lip Lava. As you can see, the colors are very similar, as it is the applicator (although the Melted applicator has 3 holes for the product while the Lip Lava has only one), and even the design of the packaging is similar.

The formula is really really really similar, and that's what I really love about the Lip Lavas, they being so similar to the Melted lipsticks and for a third of the price. 

Main differences - The Melted last longer, have an even smother formular and they aren't as shinny.

Olá / Hello Bunnies!!!

Não sei se já sabiam, mas o Outono é a minha estação preferida.
Sabem aquelas pessoas que vêem um raio de sol e vestem logo o bikini para ir para a praia? Pronto, eu vejo uma folha a cair e já estou em tons vermelhos e laranjas, a comprar tudo de abóbora e a ver filmes de terror.
Então, uma querida amiga minha sugeriu fazer-mos um pic nic para celebrar a entrada da estação (com doce de abóbora e chá quentinho à mistura) e sugeriu-me também gravar um vídeo nesse dia sobre o Outono. Eu adorei a ideia e fomos pic nicar, fotografar e filmar e foi fantástico!
Este é o resultado, espero que gostem e que se inspirem para esta nova estação.

I don't know if you already knew, but Fall is my favorite season.
You know those people that the moment they see a ray of sun dress up their bikinis and go to the beach? Well, me as soon as I see a leaf falling from a tree I'm all in red and orange tones, buying everything pumpkin and watching horror movies.
So, a dear friend of mine suggested that we should do a pic nic to welcome the new season (with pumpkin jam and hot tea) and she also suggested that we should film a video on that day about Autumn. I loved the idea and we went pic nicking, photographing and filming and it was amazing!
This is the final result, I hope you like it and that this inspires you for this new season.
