Hoje venho mostrar-vos um dos meus produtos favoritos da marca I Heart Makeup, os Lip Lavas!!!
A loja Maquillalia estava com uma promoção para comprar a colecção completa por 15€ e eu aproveitei.
Os Lip Lavas são basicamente batons líquidos com uma formula hiper pigmentada, de longa duração e com algum brilho.
Há quem diga até que eles são os dupes (imitações) perfeitos dos Melted Lipstick da Too Faced...


Today I'm going to show you one of my favourite products from the brand I Heart Makeup, the Lip Lavas!!!
Maquillalia store had the entire collection on sale for 15€ and I bought them.
The Lip Lavas are basically liquid lipsticks with hyper pigmented and long lasting formula, and with some glossy shine to them.
Some people even say that they are the perfect dupes for the Melted Lipsticks by Too Faced...

A colecção actual de Lip Lavas é constituída por cinco cores : Tremor, Shockwave, Forgiven, Unleash e Firestorm.

Como podem ver na imagem o aplicador é do género de uma esponja por onde o produto sai ao apertarem o tubo. Este aplicador é bastante prático porque cobre facilmente os lábios. Para mim o único problema deste método é ser mais difícil para transferir para um pincel (no meu caso eu necessito disto para quando estou a maquilhar clientes). 

Quanto à formula, ela é sem dúvida bastante boa. Super pigmentada e macia, muito confortável nos lábios. 

No entanto, devo informar, que entretanto dois dos Lip Lavas deixaram de funcionar. De um momento para o outro o produto deixou de sair do aplicador e até agora não encontrei uma forma de solucionar este problema. Entrei em contacto com a marca e eles disseram-me para passar o aplicador por baixo de água quente, ainda não testei este método, mas para quem tiver o mesmo problema pode sempre tentar. 

The current collection of Lip Lavas has five colors : Tremor, Shockwave, Forgiven, Unleash and Firestorm. 

As you can see in the picture above, the product has a sponge like applicator from where the product comes out when you squeeze the tube. This applicator is very practical to use since it covers all the lip pretty easily. For me, the only problem about this type of applicator is that it's very hard to transfer to a brush (which is very important for me since I need to use products on customers). 

As for the formula, it is pretty good. Super pigmented and soft, very comfortable on the lips. 

Nonetheless I need to inform you about a problem I had while using the Lip Lavas, two of them stopped working all of a sudden. The product wouldn't just come out of the applicator for no reason. I contacted the brand and they advised me to run the applicator under hot water, and although I haven't tried this yet, if you are experiencing the same problem you should try this. 

"Melted Violet"- Too Faced / "Shockwave" - I Heart Makeup 

Quanto à questão dos dupes, aqui ficam com duas fotos a comparar um batom da gama Melted e um Lip Lava. As cores como podem ver são bastante semelhantes, assim como o aplicador (embora o Melted tenha 3 orifícios por onde sai produto e o Lip Lava só tem um), e até mesmo o design das embalagens. 

A fórmula é muito muito muito semelhante, e é isso que adoro nos Lip Lavas, serem tão parecidos com os Melted por um terço do preço. 

Principais diferenças - Os Melted duram mais tempo, têm uma fórmula ainda mais macia e não têm tanto brilho. 

As for the dupe isso, here you have two photos comparing the Melted lipstick with the Lip Lava. As you can see, the colors are very similar, as it is the applicator (although the Melted applicator has 3 holes for the product while the Lip Lava has only one), and even the design of the packaging is similar.

The formula is really really really similar, and that's what I really love about the Lip Lavas, they being so similar to the Melted lipsticks and for a third of the price. 

Main differences - The Melted last longer, have an even smother formular and they aren't as shinny.

O post de hoje é sobre um dos produtos revelação do ano (pelo menos para mim) - Os Selfie Powders da Too Faced.
A marca Too Faced tem vindo a tornar-se uma das minhas marcas de eleição e o lançamento de produtos deste género é um dos principais motivos.

Today's post is about one of this year's revelation products (at least for me) - The Selfie Powders by Too Faced.
Too Faced is becoming one of my favorite brands of all time and the launching of products like this is one of the reasons why.

Selfie Powders 

Os Selfie Powders são pós de rosto correctores de cor e luz. Basicamente são ideais para aquele acabamento profissional nas fotos sem precisarem de programas de edição de imagem. 

Em si parece que não têm uma cor por aí além, mas depois de aplicados nas zonas correctas a diferença é considerável. 

Se eu acho indispensável para toda a gente? Não.

É um produto quase profissional, que faz diferença sim, mas que tenho a certeza que para a maioria das pessoas essa diferença não vai fazer com que elas gastem 35€ numa paleta de pós. 

No entanto, se de facto gostas de ter aquele look imaculado nas fotos e valorizas imenso os pequenos detalhes do rosto, então este produto vai ser dos teus preferidos. 

Selfie Powders are color and light correcting face powders. Basically, they are ideal for that professional finish on your photos without the need of using photo editing programs. 

On their own they don't seem to have much color payoff, but after you apply them to the correct areas the difference is quite noticeable. 

If I think this product is mandatory for everyone? No.

It's almost a pro product, that makes a difference, but I'm sure it's not a difference that will make people spend 35€ on a powder palette. 

On the other hand, if you like to have that pristine look on your photos and if you do value the little face details a lot, you will find that this product is going to be one of your favorite. 

Sunrise 

O meu pó preferido de todos. Se a Too Faced fizesse este pó isolado eu compraria de certeza. 

Eu uso  na zona das olheiras e nas zonas onde normalmente colocaria iluminador e este pó dá um ar de saúde e de acordada ao rosto. 

É perfeito, ficamos com um rosto fresco e liso. 

This is by far my favorite powder of them all. So much that if Too Faced decided to make this powder on its own I would buy it for sure.

I use it on the dark circle area and on the areas that I would normally wear illuminator and this powder gives you a healthy and awake look to your face.

It's perfect, you'll get a fresh and smooth face.

Totally Toasted 

Este pó serve para termos aquele rosto bronzeado sem as marcas definidas do bronzer. No entanto, não apliquem no rosto todo...apenas não fica bem. 

This powder gives you that tanned look without the straight lines from the bronzer. However, don't put it all over your face...it just wont look good.

Moon River

Talvez o pó com a cor mais estranha de toda a paleta, mas não é difícil de usar. 

Eu utilizo exactamente nas mesmas zonas que o Sunrise, a diferença é que a tonalidade deste pó é um pouco mais fria, dá luz na mesma, mas num tom mais frio. 

Para mim é perfeito para sair à noite ou para o Inverno. 

Maybe the weirdest looking powder from all palette, but it's not hard to use. 

I use this powder exactly on the same areas as Sunrise, the difference is that this is a more cool toned powder, it gives you light but in a cooler tone.

For me it's perfect for going out at night or for winter time.

Este é um dos meus produtos preferidos da caixa!!!

São pauzinhos de pretzel com uma cobertura de chocolate branco!!! São apenas deliciosos!!! 

This is one of my favorite products from the whole box!!!

They are pretzel sticks covered with white chocolate!!! They are just delicious!!!

Meiji Petit Bubblegum

As chiclets (sim eu digo chiclets ok?) MAIS FOFAS DO MUNDO!!!!

Mini chiclets com sabor a uva, é impossível comer só uma. E olhem para as uvinhas a fazer balões de chiclet, não é adorável???!!! 

The CUTEST CHEWING GUM IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!

Grape flavored mini chewing gum, it is impossible to eat just one. And look at those little grapes blowing their bubbles, how adorable is it???!!!!

Puccho Mixed Fruit Chewy Candy 

Os meus preferidos de toda a caixa, gostava de ter isto à venda aqui em Portugal!

São rebuçados de fruta com uma consistência única porque têm goma por dentro, tão, mas tão bons!!!

These are my favorite from the whole box, I wish I had these in Portugal!

They are fruit chewy candy and a unique consistency because they have gummie inside, so so good!!!

Marukawa Fusen Bubble Gum 

Embalagem tãooooo fofaaaaaawww!!!! *.* 

Chiclets de uva um pouco mais ácidas que as outras, mas muito boas também. 

Such a cuuuuteeeeee packageeeee !!!! *.*

Grape bubble gum, a little bit more acid than the other ones, but really good as well. 

Yaokin Sour Paper Candy 

Este aqui é uma língua de coca cola como as que encontramos em Portugal. 

Eu adoro línguas e adoro coca cola por isso não tinha como falhar. 

This one here is just like a "cola tongue" (as we call it here in Portugal) as the ones we find here. 

I love the "tongues" and I love cola flavor so this couldn't be wrong. 

Dorayaki Japanese Hot Cake

Sempre quis experimentar uma coisa destas desde que vi no Doraemon...e sempre pensei que o que tivesse no meio fosse chocolate, mas não é. 

São umas panquecas molinhas com um recheio doce do género de marmelada. 

Gostei bastante!

I've always wanted to try one of these since I saw them on Doraemon...and I always thought that it had chocolate filling, but it hasn't. 

They are a soft kind of pancake with a sweet filling like marmalade. 

I liked it a lot!

Meiji Kotsubu Chocolates

De longe a minha embalagem preferida! É tudo tão fofowwwwww. 

Mas foi o doce que menos gostei, sabe-me a chocolate simples. 

By far my favorite packaging! It is all soooo cuuutteee. 

But it was my least favorite candy, it tastes to me like regular chocolate. 

Lotte Koala March Biscuits

Tão fofos que não apetece comer, mas tão bons que apetece comer tudo de uma vez.

Biscoitos muito macios com recheio de cacau. 

Muito muito bons, ficaram no meu top 3!

So cute that you don't want to eat them, but soo good that you just want to eat them all at once.

Super soft biscuits with cocoa filling.

They are very very good, definitely on my top 3!

No geral é uma caixa deliciosa, doces muito muito bons. 

As embalagens são de sonho e dá vontade de entrar num supermercado japonês e comprar tudo!!!

O preço é bastante acessível para uma caixa que vem com tanta coisa, recomendo!

Overall it's a delicious box, with really good candies. 

The packaging is dreamlike and it just makes you want to enter a Japanese super market and buy everything!!!

The price is quite good for the amount of candies you get, I recommend it!

Sem dúvida um dos meus cheiros preferidos da caixa, é uma mistura entre doce e fresco. Adorei!!!

Without a doubt one of my favorite scents from the box, it's a mix between sweet and fresh. I love it!!!

"Tink!" OCD Hand Sanitizer 

"Do you believe in fairies? Ok, good...we can be friends.

Fresh cherries in cream, sprinkled with toasted coconut and a fairy dusting of powder sugar"

Eu amo os OCDs da FCS!!! Este, para mim, cheira exactamente a piña colada com ananás e côco. Não me cheira nada a cerejas. Tem um micro glitter!!!

I love the OCDs from FCS!!! This one, for me, smells exactly like a piña colada with pineapple and coconut. It doesn't smell nothing like cherries. It has a fine glitter!!!

"Lost Boys" Whipped Cream

"Get lost for peach sake! Just don't lose your marbles...

Golden apricot muddled with fresh white peaches"

Mais uma vez um cheiro muito fresco que tem mais de citrinos do que propriamente de pêssegos. 

Again a fresh scent that has more of citrus than actually peaches. 

"Mermaid Lagoon" Two Phase Perfume Oil

"Our coconuts bring all the mermaids to the lagoon - but watch out, they'll probably drown you! Them beaches...

To use: shake it more than twice, it's fun to play with! May stain clothing (take it from Bill & Monica!)

O cheiro que menos gostei de toda a caixa. O conceito do produto é lindíssimo, mas o cheiro para perfume é muito mau. Cheira exactamente a desinfectante sanitário, e eu usaria mais como ambientador do que como perfume. 

The smell I liked the least from the whole box. The product concept is really beautiful, but the smell as a perfume is really bad. It smells exactly like toilet sanitizer, and I would use it more as a air freshener than as a perfume. 

"Kiss" Lip Balm

"Here's a thimble, pucker up! 

Exotic watermelon, juicy pineapple and coconut water, bursting with fresh citrus juices"

O produto mais fofo(!) de toda a caixa!!!! O cheiro é delicioso também, cheira a rebuçados de ananás. 

The cutest product (!) from the entire box!!!! And the scent is delicious too, it smells like pineapple hard candy. 

"The Boy Who Never Grew Up" Salt Scrub

"Boys don't want to grow up & girls just want to have fun! Why can't we have both?!

Tropical margarita - served with a salted rim" 

Este produto cheira muito muito bem, com um cheiro principalmente cítrico. O esfoliante é feito com pedras de sal. 

This product smells really really good, with a mainly citrusy scent. The scrub is made with rock salt. 

"Wendy Bird" Veggie Protein Deodorant 

"Don't be afraid to raise your arm and flip the bird...the Wendy Bird that is! What were you thinking?! Bright, green apple with a balmy, tropical twist"

Para mim, apesar deste produto ter um cheiro fresco (como é comum a toda a caixa) eu também sinto um cheiro a nozes ou avelãs....

For me, although this product as a fresh scent (as in all the products) I also smell something like nuts or hazelnuts....

"The Captain" Steam Me Up Scotty!

"Call yourself a cod fish - don't smell like one!!

Dewy magnolias and wild berries drenched with fresh cream"

Cheiro absolutamente delicioso, cheira a perfume e é muito feminino. O meu problema é ainda não ter percebido bem como funciona este produto. 

Absolutely delicious scent, it smells like perfume and it's very feminine. My problem is that I still didn't figure it out how to make this product work.
